Pineapple and Cheese Toastie


  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • Butter
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ Dole pineapple, sliced thinly and chopped in pieces (or use a tin of Dole crushed pineapple)

Serves 1


  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread
  2. On non-buttered side of bread place the mozzarella cheese and pineapple and top with the other slice of bread, buttered side facing up.
  3. Cook sandwich on stove top on a griddle or frying pan. Once bread is toasted on one side flip the sandwich to toast the other side. Cook on a low heat to allow the cheese to melt while the bread is toasting.
