Cheesy Hawaiian Toastie with Spicy Butter
Cheesy, sweet, and a little bit spicy – this is a hit for the whole family.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of Dole crushed pineapple
100g of mozzarella - grated
2 slices of tasty cheese
Small handful of shaved ham
2 slices of sesame sourdough bread
50g of butter - room temp
1 tablespoon of sriracha
Method
Combine the butter and sriracha together.
Place a pan over a low heat.
Spread a generous amount of spicy butter on one side of a piece of bread then pop it into the pan.
Top with tasty cheese, ham, crushed pineapple and mozzarella cheese.
Spread the rest of the spicy butter on the other piece of bread and pop on top of the fillings.
Cook low and slow for the best results.
Once the cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown it’s time to dig in. Enjoy!
