These oaty bites are the perfect 3pm sweet; with oats to keep you full until dinnertime, and the perfect level of sweetness to satisfy that sugar craving.
2 bananas, peeled
2 cups rolled oats
¼ cup nut butter
¼ cup honey
Handful of dark chocolate chips
Pinch of ground cinnamon
- In a bowl, mash the bananas to a puree consistency. Add in the oats, chocolate chips and cinnamon and stir well.
- In a microwave proof bowl, stir together the peanut butter and honey then microwave for 15 seconds. Pour into the oat mixture and stir to combine.
- Roll into balls, then place onto a lined tray and set in the freezer for 2 hours. Place into a container once set and store in the freezer.
